Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
We collect what we need to build your website, and nothing else.
DigiLYT (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a small team in India that builds and manages websites end to end. This policy covers what happens with the information you share with us through digilyt.com. Questions? Email info@digilyt.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us, when you give it to us.
- Preview form & contact form — your name, business name, email, and a short brief of what you need.
- Currency preference — a single value (“INR” or “USD”) stored as a cookie so the pricing toggle remembers your choice and the correct prices render. We also use your approximate country (provided by Cloudflare’s edge from your IP) to choose the default currency. The cookie holds no personal data.
- Server logs — routine request data (IP, user agent, timestamps) handled by our hosting provider for abuse prevention and uptime, retained briefly.
- Aggregate analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool, to count page views and visits and see which countries our visitors come from. It uses no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and never builds a profile of you or tracks you across other websites.
We do not run advertising trackers, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other cross-site or behavioural-tracking scripts. Our only analytics is Cloudflare’s cookieless, aggregate Web Analytics described above.
How we use it
- To build the preview you asked for and reply to your enquiry.
- To deliver and support your website if you decide to proceed.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare — content delivery, hosting, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes IPs and basic request metadata. See their policy.
- Razorpay — payment processing for paid plans. Razorpay handles card and UPI data directly; that data never touches our servers. See their policy.
- Email provider — contact-form submissions are forwarded to info@digilyt.com over an encrypted SMTP connection.
Websites we build for clients
Sites we deliver may collect their own customer data — order information, contact submissions, newsletter signups —through their own forms. That data belongs to the business that owns the site, not to DigiLYT. Each client site should publish its own privacy policy covering how it handles its visitors’ data.
Design tools we use internally
Our design system uses third-party tools to draft and review layouts. No personal information from you or your end customers is ever shared with those tools, and every preview is reviewed by a human on our team before it reaches you.
Data security
Everything in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Our hosting, contact-form delivery, and email all run on encrypted connections, and we keep submission storage to the minimum needed to reply.
How long we keep things
We keep contact and preview submissions only as long as we need them to reply to you and, where you proceed, to deliver and support your site. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Children
Our service is intended for businesses, not for individuals under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information you’ve given us. Email info@digilyt.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
